Where Do I Find Post-Season Information?
As an OMHA rep league, the teams within our league may have the chance to compete in two different post-seasons.  These are known as the "OMHA Playdowns" and the "League Playoffs".

The Playdowns and the Playoffs are separate championships, but since they happen at the same time it can be confusing to know where to find information.  Read on for tips on where to go once the post-season starts.

The OMHA Playdowns consist of the preliminary round(s), where teams from each area of the province (usually within the same league) play each other.  Winners of the league-managed preliminary round(s) then advance to the OMHA-managed quarter-final, semi-final, and final rounds - and typically teams from different leagues will meet to play those series.

All OMHA preliminary rounds will be available on our league website, including all schedules & scores.  You will also find the brackets (flowcharts), which show where our league's winners will advance plus other preliminary series that will advance to the same area of the bracket, including those from other leagues.  You will also be able to click on the series from other leagues to view more details about those other series.

Once the Quarter-Finals begin, you will still be able to see some information on our league website, but for the "big picture" you will be able to see everything on the new OMHA Playdowns Pages, which are powered by TheOneDB for 2015.  For the first time ever, you will be able to track the entire progress of every team in the Playdowns, from their first preliminary series right through to the finals, in every age and category.

The preliminary rounds for the OMHA playdowns must be completed by February 8, 2015, and then the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals will continue on into late March.

The League Playoffs will also start shortly after the conclusion of the regular season and continue simultaneously alongside the OMHA Playdowns through late March.  All League Playoff information will be available exclusively here on our league website, including all schedules, scores, and brackets.

All pages on our league's website which show game schedules - like the calendar pages and the scoreboard pages - will continue to show ALL games for any of our teams throughout the post-season, including OMHA Playdown games right through to the finals.  Additional information about the series for those games is just a click away - and you'll either find that information on the league site or on the OMHA website.  But in either case, you can start with our league website and go from there.

Good luck to everyone in the 2015 post-season!
